Congratulations K.T., Ignite Student for August 2010.
“K.T.”, as we all know her, is the Ignite Student of the month for the month of August. K.T. is an amazing young lady, who has truly overcome some overwhelming odds to be who she has become today. K.T. is a stand out student who has shown great efforts to those things that are honorable before God. She is “running the race as to win”. She makes consistent efforts to leave those things behind that hinder her progress.

The leadership team has chosen Mike as the Ignite Student of the Month for July. His depth of character is seemingly endless. Mike has been stellar keeping a cool attitude even in the most diverse situations. Mike has shown a compassion and a patience that very few people have. Mike is well loved here at Ignite, and is an example of tenacity that all of us could learn from, earning him the respect and admiration of his leaders.

Congratulations to Trisha for receiving the nod from her leadership team to be the Ignite Student of the month for June. Trisha has really stepped up to the plate when it comes to speaking out and acting like a young woman of God. Trisha has repeatedly been challenged with difficult decisions and has consistently risen to the occasion of doing the right thing. "Now that’s character”.

Mykael’s actions have spoken louder than any words making him the April 2010 Student of the Month! The Ignite leadership team has seen this young man grow from one who was quick to be angry (tossing knuckle sandwiches thru glass windowsJ) into one who has found true peace Ignited in himself! Mykael turns away from the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Congratulations to Samantha, Ignite Student for March 2010.
Congratulations to Samantha for her nomination as the Ignite “Student of the Month” for the month of March. Samantha has earned this distinction for her great attitude, and her heart for doing the right things in her life. She made some solid decisions in her life, and met challenges head on with a joy that is obvious. Her voice on W.E. NITES is exceptional. “Oh! And this girl’s got skills!!!" Her performance in the “Everything” skit was perfect!

February snowed out!!
While we have so many students working toward the good, we just didn't get much time to spend with them to see the progress in the month of February because of the snow. We look forward to the next student of the month in March.

Congratulations to Justin, Ignite Student for January 2010.

Justin has shown leadership through much of the service he brings to Ignite. He is a member of the Ignite Band, leads Movie Night events, and is the graphic artist that brings our web pages to light. He also has connected Ignite to the Breakfast Club, which is a ministry where he serves the homeless in the Atlantic City area.

Tony is the December Ignite Student of the Month!
Tony has shown outstanding character, reflecting those things that exemplify an Ignite student (Matt 5:14-16). We notice that he is equipped with a few of the 7 Core Values we hold. Wise Choices and Others First, are just a few that come to mind when we think of Tony. We see this last one as a challenge for us all, which is why he has been chosen as Student of the Month for December 2009!
